I am happy to have witnessed the growth of the wireless phone industry of the last several years. One of the most remarkable developments is the advanced quality of phone models and calling services available for prepaid "pay as you go" customers.
Gone are the days of the Tracphone ( I think they still make them, but with all the available options, who needs them) deals with the prepaid cards and last century's bland phone. All the flashy "sexy" manufacturers have wireless devices available for Virgin, Go Phone, and other prepaid providers. All major carriers have entered the prepaid market as well, often offering no obligation plans comparable to the contract offers.
If you just want a cool phone and don't need the features of a long-term contract, there are so many options out there.
